The founders vision has continued as Storer still contracts with school districts to provide school bus transportation services to special needs students throughout California. Today, Storer Transportation operates over 650 buses and has expanded its services to include charter, transit, school, and commuter bus services. In 2001, Storer had one (1) terminal location. In the Bay Area alone, Storer provides nearly 50 daily, commuter-style fixed-route services to some of the most well-known companies in the world.
Storer is a fourth generation, family-owned business which has built it's 64-year reputation on safety, high quality, and dependable services. "At Storer, safety is without a doubt the most important aspect of our transportation services, as we are entrusted in transporting life's most precious cargo," said President & CEO Donald Storer, the companies third generation leader, as he accepted the award on behalf of the company at the annual UMA Motorcoach Expo event in Atlanta, Georgia.
