Stradis Healthcare Names Derrell James as New President and CEO

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Stradis Healthcare today announced the appointment of Derrell James as its new President and CEO. James comes to Stradis Healthcare from EMS Technologies now Honeywell Defense and Space, where he held various roles including Vice President of Business Development and Director of Technical Sales. A seasoned general manager with broad healthcare expertise and a successful background in growing new revenue sources, James will guide the company's strategy as Stradis expands into a rapidly growing market. 

James has a reputation as a transformational leader with a proven track record of growing revenue and market share while competing against large incumbents. In his most recent role at Honeywell, he was responsible for global business development, marketing and sales, in the defense and space sectors for satellite communications, line of sight datalinks, RADAR, and space payload systems. Prior to joining Honeywell, James was with Kimberly-Clark where he led the operations business integration culminating with the successful acquisition of I-Flow, Inc., and Baylis Medical, Inc., adding $150 million/year in sales starting in 2010. Before Kimberly-Clark, he held various positions in the medical devices and process instrumentation industries in general management, operations, business development, and sales at Genicon and Sypris.
