Strategas Research Partners, LLC Acquires David Malpass' Encima Global
NEW YORK, Jan. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategas Research Partners, LLC today announced the acquisition of Encima Global, a New York macroeconomic research provider run by former Bear Stearns Chief Economist and appointee to the Reagan and Bush Administrations David Malpass. Encima brings Strategas Research new econometric models and new corporate and institutional investment relationships. At the same time, Encima's clients will gain access to Strategas' unbiased global macroeconomic research in seven research verticals – investment strategy, economics, policy research, technical analysis, fixed income strategy, industry surveys, and international economics. With this acquisition, Strategas continues to expand its services and to build its value proposition.
