StreamUnlimited announces StreamSDK availability on MediaTek SOC

Features of the MT8516 chipset include an integrated quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex A35 MP Core operating up to 1.3 GHz, raw NAND and eMMC support, WiFi, Bluetooth 5 and BTLE 4.0 with RF built-in and multiple I/O including I2S x2 (4 channels), TDM (up to 8 channels), PDM (2 channels), SPDIF Rx/Tx and embedded 2 channel stereo audio DAC and ADC. The MT8516 platform also supports Dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) 2x2 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MU-MIMO.
Providing a powerful quad core platform and 1.3GHz CPU, feature integration possibilities include all popular online music streaming services, the Google Assistant, Chromecast built-in, Amazon Alexa and AirPlay 2 enabled products, whilst offering a future proof solution optimized for cost and low power consumption.
