The new Embracers closure design, with two adjustable overlapping straps, embraces the tongue of the shoe to keep the foot secure. To develop this new closure, Dromms kept his own children in mind and focused on helping parents with their everyday needs while also designing a shoe that is fun and stylish for a child.
