PRINCETON, N.J., Dec. 20, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Clearbrook Global Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce that Timothy C. Ng and Mark N. Hong, CFA, have joined the firm's investment consulting arm, Clearbrook Investment Consulting, LLC, effective Monday, September 27, 2010. Mr. Ng has assumed the role of Managing Director and Head of Research with responsibility for, and oversight of, all aspects of the Clearbrook Research process. In his new role, Mr. Ng will be instrumental in building the Clearbrook Research team, and defining best practices. Mr. Ng is the former President and Chief Investment Officer of Structured Investment Group, LLC, (SIG), with offices located in New York City.

Mr. Hong will join Clearbrook as a Director and assumes a leading role in the Clearbrook Research process. He will be focused across all asset classes but will play an integral role in the research and allocation of alternative investments. Additionally, given Mr. Hong's background in the private equity and venture capital arenas, he will assist Clearbrook in future tactical acquisitions. Mr. Hong is a former co-founder and Principal of SIG.
SIG was formed in 2002 to manage and advise hedge fund investments on behalf of institutions and family offices. Since 2002, they have successfully launched structured products and multi and single strategy hedge fund of funds and currently advise on approximately $2 billion of assets. Mr. Ng and Mr. Hong have more than 40 years of combined investment experience managing assets and risk at numerous firms including Smith Barney, Prudential Asset Management and Merrill Lynch.
