"With the restoration of the Brandywine Building, Stuart Dean was able to seamlessly blend new architectural appointments with the building's original architectural qualities," said Mark Parrish, president and CEO of Stuart Dean.  "It is the kind of comprehensive solution we've been providing to commercial building owners of all kinds since our company was formed more than 80 years ago.  With our work on the Brandywine Building, we are once again able to point with pride to a restored building in an important business district."

Work on the building included restoration of metal in the lobby and bronze elevators along with the refurbishment of the flame-cut granite walls to their original condition.  Opaque window film replaced existing tinted glass, and crews also performed repairs to the terrazzo floors.  The job took approximately four months to complete.

"The work at the Brandywine Building was a comprehensive undertaking, which required great attention to detail," said Rick DiCesare, project engineer of BPGS Construction, LLC.  "We were pleased to partner with Stuart Dean on this project and think that the building's owner and tenants should be very proud of the results."
