Subaru of Pembroke Pines Spreads Warmth to Cancer Patients in Local Communities for Second Consecutive Year in Collaboration With The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., Aug. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Craig and Martine Zinn, and the Craig Zinn Automotive Group (CZAG) who owns and operates Subaru of Pembroke Pines have once again partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Southern Florida Chapter (LLS), and together they have joined the Subaru of America Loves to Care initiative.
Throughout the month of July 2017, employees and visitors at Subaru of Pembroke Pines had the opportunity to handwrite personalized messages of hope to patients. They were also encouraged to visit lls.org/subaru and share online messages. Those who wrote a message of hope at the Subaru retailer dealership received a bracelet to help spread awareness of LLS and the automaker's goal to provide hope and care, one gesture at a time.
Representatives from both Subaru of Pembroke and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Southern Florida Chapter joined to personally spread love, hope, and warmth to cancer patients and their families. They visited Memorial Hospital in Pembroke Pines, delivered blankets, craft kits and numerous hand-written messages of hope for patients on behalf of their customers and employees. The craft kits were donated for children battling cancer, and blankets were hand-delivered to adult patients by the Subaru of Pembroke Pines team, led by Duane Massa, General Manager, and Bryan Medina, Sales Associate, in the hopes of providing comfort as they continue their fight against the disease.
