SuccessEHS Announces Acquisition of Integrated Physician Systems

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SuccessEHS has announced the acquisition of Integrated Physician Systems (IPS), a comprehensive healthcare professional services firm. IPS offers revenue cycle management, business services and strategic advisory and consulting services to healthcare entities across the U.S. The addition of IPS will incorporate full practice management services into SuccessEHS's current offerings, which include an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management solution with Integrated Medical Billing Services, as well as Electronic Dental Record (EDR) and Dental Imaging solutions.

The addition of a complete set of practice management services to SuccessEHS's existing billing and consulting services underscores the company's commitment to helping its clients successfully navigate the business of medicine. IPS has extensive experience in supporting and guiding healthcare business functions, currently providing professional services to more than 70 practices.

IPS will function as a wholly-owned subsidiary of SuccessEHS, which has retained the company's Orlando offices, as well as all employees and management. Prior to the acquisition, the two companies maintained a partnership of more than 10 years. For more than two years, SuccessEHS has held minority ownership of IPS. The acquisition transfers full ownership to SuccessEHS from former majority owners Dr. Gene Pascarella, Dr. Robert Katz and Dr. Jon Hultman, who will all remain with IPS in a consulting capacity.
