In early 2010, incorrect fee schedules were released for use by Medicare fiscal intermediaries resulting in underpayments for many claims processed between January 1 and May 31, 2010. Although the fee schedules were retroactively updated, thousands, perhaps millions of procedures were underpaid. The individual claim underpayments weren't large, but the numbers became astounding when errors were multiplied by hundreds or thousands of claims.

The Medicare Revision tool estimates total underpayment for the clinic and identifies underpaid claims for re-submission to Medicare for the recovery of underpayments.
