SuccessFactors Named the Top Learning Organization in the World for 2013

Magazine's Learning! 100 list for 2013. The Learning! 100 Award recognizes 60 corporate and 40 public sector organizations of all sizes for outstanding learning culture, innovation or collaboration that drives performance. Companies are evaluated using three criteria: Aberdeen Group's best-in-class Learning & Development assessment, Elearning! Media Group's Learning Culture index and the overall performance of the organization.

In January 2012, SuccessFactors faced three key challenges: high sales attrition, slow time-to-quota for new hire sales reps, and too few sales reps achieving quota. In order to enable its sales team for success, SuccessFactors' Learning team instituted a Boot Camp for onboarding new sales personnel and built it on SuccessFactors' Learning Management System (LMS) and its own social collaboration platform, SAP Jam. The team also devised a go-to-market product "playbook" for each product to take sales people through the entire sales cycle, from identifying potential customers to closing deals. As a result, in 2012, new sales rep ramp time was cut in half, three times more sales reps met quota, and overall sales attrition was down 80 percent compared to 2011 sales new hires.
