Sunday Riley to Launch A+ Retinoid Formula

HOUSTON, Jan. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas-based best-selling skincare line Sunday Riley has unveiled its A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum – the latest in the brand's arsenal of anti-aging and award-winning products. Powered by a 6.5 percent blend of retinoids and botanicals, the A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum is a potent formula that provides the results of traditional retinoids and retinols without the prescription or the side effects. A+ will launch online January 16 and will be available for sale in Sephora stores starting January 25.

The A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum isn't Sunday Riley's first introduction to retinol – their Luna Sleeping Night Oil has been a best-seller for years, formulated with trans-retinoic acid ester complex to reduce the appearance of pores and wrinkles while visibly improving the signs of premature aging – but the new high-dose serum is the brand's first concentrated retinol treatment. For sensitive skin or users who don't currently use a retinol or retinoid product, Sunday Riley recommends building up a tolerance to the formula as this is an advanced product, and as always, use a sunscreen. The A+ serum packs a 6.5 percent retinol blend using 5 percent retinoid ester, 1 percent liposomal-encapsulated retinol, and .5 percent blue-green algae to fight signs of aging, improve skin clarity and reduce the appearance of imperfections. A mixture of botanicals works to reduce the typical side effects of retinoids and retinols like flaking and redness while balancing the skin. Hawaiian white honey, bisabolol (a derivative from the chamomile flower), ginger and prickly pear cactus round out these skin-benefitting botanical ingredients.
