Sunny Street Cafe™ Co-Brands with Mrs. Fields®

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunny Street Cafe™, a fast-growing breakfast-lunch chain, is opening its first Mrs. Fields® store inside its Arena District restaurant at 277 W. Nationwide Blvd. in Columbus, Ohio to boost its dessert, catering and gifting offerings.

The Mrs. Fields retail and carryout center, which includes an on-site bakery and its own space and display case, will offer a select line of Mrs. Fields treats, including daily fresh baked cookies, brownies, Nibblers® bite-size cookies and customizable big cookie cakes.  It also will feature a local favorite, the Buckeye Cookie, a fresh baked peanut butter cookie dipped in milk chocolate.  These products will be available in a variety of gifting options, including corporate gift and holiday baskets and tins, and assorted cookie and brownie catering trays for birthday and office gatherings, parties and events.

Mrs. Fields had departed the Columbus area from its Columbus City Center Mall and Polaris Fashion Place locations in past years. Sunny Street Cafe now will offer the only Mrs. Fields retail location within 100 miles of Columbus. Success of the new addition could mean a rollout in other Sunny Street Cafe restaurants nationwide.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.  The restaurant also is featuring a new line of Gevalia® fresh brewed espresso, latte and cappuccino drinks to complement the Mrs. Fields treats. The premium coffee drinks will be available for dine-in and takeout, just in time for fall and expanded Arena District restaurant hours.
