Sunturn Predicts Brisk Adoption of Voice, Video and Unified Communications Solutions in 2010
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunturn, one of the nation's largest private service providers for voice, video and unified communications solutions is experiencing greater than expected interest in its products and services over the first few months of 2010.
"We entered the Central Texas market in mid 2009 and were able to secure a number of significant deals with large regional corporate offices and government agencies," said Kyle Wewe, General Manager of Sunturn's Austin office. "However, in early 2010 the pace has accelerated and we have already closed three significant contracts in the last few weeks."
This early momentum has been driven largely by the proven and rapid investment returns that Central Texas organizations see when they select Sunturn to enhance, and in some cases replace, telecommunications and unified communications infrastructures.
"A major corporation recently selected Sunturn to implement an extensive enhancement to its national call center," said Kyle Wewe. "That same organization expects to realize a net return on its infrastructure investment in less than two months."
Another factor driving the higher-than-expected demand for Sunturn's services relates to recently distributed federal stimulus funding. In the last few months funds associated with federal stimulus programs have finally become available. These newly available funds are driving a variety of previously planned communications projects designed to enhance the ability of regional government organizations to serve their constituents.
Finally, consolidation in the marketplace is spurring customers to action. Avaya's acquisition of Nortel marks a major change in enterprise communications markets. Sunturn observes a market with tremendous pent-up demand from enterprises who have delayed upgrades because of uncertain economic conditions.
Last year's "wait and see" mentality is beginning to give way to a reinvigorated customer desire for innovative products. New Avaya promotions enable Sunturn to offer significant discounts to Nortel customers looking to upgrade existing infrastructure, integrate front-end Nortel solutions with Avaya products, or refresh all communications technologies with an Avaya solution.
"Due to the strong increase in demand we've begun the process of hiring new sales and engineering staff," said Kyle Wewe. "If you have extensive experience in telecommunications sales or engineering, please send along your information. We would love to hear from you."
