Supply Chain Services Provider Coregistics Names Chris Gaffney As Chief Operations Officer

ATLANTA, Aug. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Coregistics, a packaging-centric supply chain services company, today announced that Chris Gaffney, former senior vice president at Coca-Cola Refreshments, has been named Chief Operating Officer.  In this role, Gaffney will oversee operations in all six Coregistics facilities, ensuring companywide alignment with overarching strategy.  His responsibilities will include facility-by-facility performance and execution, technology and business intelligence, corporate culture and employee development, quality assurance and customer care.

Recognized as an enterprise supply chain leader, Gaffney brings almost 30 years of supply chain and logistics experience to Coregistics. Prior to joining the company, Gaffney served as a senior vice president on the supply chain team at Coca-Cola Refreshments, where he led supply chain strategy and long term infrastructure planning, as well as capacity and inventory planning. During his 19-year tenure at Coca-Cola, Gaffney held a variety of senior executive-level positions, including president of Coca-Cola Supply and vice president of logistics for Coca-Cola North America. While at Coca-Cola, Gaffney led the successful creation of a supply chain and logistics shared services company and oversaw the supply chain integration work stream for the largest vertical integration in company history. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Gaffney held positions at global meat and protein provider AJC International and at Frito-Lay.
