SURE Universal and China Electric Institute Join Forces to Build an Open Connectivity Foundation Demonstration Lab

GUANGZHOU, China, May 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Sure Universal, a leading provider of software IoT platforms, demonstrated their latest turnkey Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) standard compliant solution at the OCF China Forum. The solution enables IoT control and management of any OCF-compliant Smart Home Device, using SURE's  Smart Home Hub, IoT cloud, and SURE Universal app. Using OCF bridging technology, SURE Universal allows interoperability with various IoT radio protocols, such as, legacy Infra Red (IR), WiFi, Zwave, Zigbee, and BLE. Furthermore, SURE Universal demonstrated voice control using both Google Voice and Baidu Voice for China Market.

SURE Universal IoT software platform is production ready and allows hardware vendors quick integration of  the OCF standard into their products.

CEI and SURE also announced plans to build and operate an OCF demonstration lab at CEI Guangzhou facility, to promote OCF technology to OCF China members and demonstrate OCF devices using the SURE platform and a variety of OCF-compliant hardware.
