SureCall Announces Bi-Annual Future Leaders Scholarship Call for Submissions

FREMONT, Calif., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- SureCall, the performance leading cell phone signal booster manufacturer, is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2019 campaign of the SureCall Future Leaders Scholarship Program. The winner of the upcoming scholarship campaign will receive $1,000 to contribute to his or her college tuition.
Applicants are asked to submit a short essay that focuses on the discipline they have chosen or would like to pursue in school and how they will use that to enrich everyday life. SureCall has developed a culture of encouraging new ideas and looks to instill that with the next generation. This scholarship program was started at the request of the company's founder and CEO, Hongtao Zhan, who had a vision of improving everyday life in the cellular age and the entrepreneurial drive to see it to fruition.
"I benefited from financial aid while pursuing my education, which provided me with the skills and experience I needed to build SureCall. I want to help the bright and hard-working minds become future leaders in their area of study and passion," explained Zhan.
In February, the company selected the winner of the Winter 2018 scholarship program. The panel of essay judges read each of the short essays and selected Leandra B., soon to be a student at Utah State University. Her essay was impassioned and goal-oriented, making her a shining example of why SureCall started this program in the first place.
