TULSA, Okla., July 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Williams & Williams, global leader in live and online real estate auctions, announced today it will sell 9 former KeyBank locations later this month in public auctions. The real estate, which is a mix of single- and multi-tenant buildings, have nominal opening bids that range from $25,000 to $100,000. Several of the properties will be open this Friday, July 8th for inspections.
The auction properties are located in New York, Maine, Washington and Ohio. "This event marks the third round of auctions Williams & Williams has conducted for KeyBank in the last 12 months," said Fontana Fitzwilson, Executive Vice President of Williams & Williams. "A date-certain sale, and the efficiencies of the auction process make this a good disposition solution for this seller."
Fitzwilson said previous auctions of former KeyBank properties have yielded acceptable high bids that came from a variety of buyers, including restaurants and business services. "Because these properties have vaults or secure areas, we also attracted jewelry stores, retailers or other end-users who needed those types of buildings."
High bidders will sign a purchase contract immediately following each auction and will be required to make a 10% down payment. Closing takes place 30 days after seller acceptance. The properties are selling with no contingencies "as is, where is." New York properties in Amsterdam, Jamestown and Albany, and in Tenino, WA will be open this Friday for inspections from 11-2pm. All properties will be open Friday July 15th for final inspections.
Online bidding is available for all properties (including those that sell on site) at AuctionNetwork.com, a sister company of Williams & Williams. For more information, including photos and terms of sale, please visit https://www.williamsauction.com/keybank
