Survey: Test Prep on the Go, the Way of the Future

LOS ANGELES, July 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Over half of pre-law students say they plan to select a mobile app to prepare for the LSAT, according to a new survey conducted by TestMax, a Silicon Beach based start-up and leader in comprehensive test prep courses on mobile platforms. Enrolling in a traditional in-class course to prepare for the LSAT received only 43% of the vote.

Of the 57% who said they would buy or use a mobile app to study for the LSAT, 79% indicated they were selecting a mobile app because the app is always available.  Seventy-four percent said they liked that they could use the app to study whenever they have a free moment.  Thirty-three percent of students surveyed said a mobile app was more cost effective than traditional options (Note: survey respondents were not limited to just one answer on this question).
