Sustainable Energy Fund Announces Low Interest Financing Program for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects
ALLENTOWN, Pa., Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Sustainable Energy Fund invites not-for-profit and governmental entities in Pennsylvania to apply for a loans at two percent interest to complete energy efficiency or renewable energy projects. Projects must reduce energy consumption of non-sustainable resources or generate energy from sustainable resources. Total available funding through the Sustainable Energy Finance Program is $500,000 with funding ranging from $5,000 to $100,000. Funds will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Request for Applications will be available beginning Wednesday October 15, 2014 and can be downloaded at http://www.thesef.org. The deadline for submission is Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. EST. Projects may include solar photovoltaic, lighting retrofits, HVAC upgrades and building envelope improvements, among others.
