MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SweetVinyl, LLC ("SweetVinyl"), creator of the SugarCube, the world's first all-in-one Vinyl Recording Platform with built in click and pop removal, has successfully oversubscribed their Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign and exceeded its goal of $50,000 by 2x. The campaign funding exceeded $100,000 as of December 12 and still has 17 days left. The campaign reached more than 100% of the goal in the first day of the campaign.
Visitors to CES, Suite 29-131 at the Venetian, in January will see the SugarCube SC-1 and SC-2 which package SweetVinyl's pioneering click & pop removal technology into an audiophile grade component allowing any combination of turntable and phono stage to play older records as brand new.
The SugarCube SC-1 and SC-2 are the first audiophile products to feature real-time, non-destructive, click & pop removal on any vinyl LP record. SweetVinyl's sophisticated algorithm is able to detect, isolate and remove only unwanted noise separate from the music. Previous demonstrations of the SugarCube's live removal of clicks & pops has garnered rave reviews from press and attendees at other events.
"Thank you to all of our passionate customers and supporters. We couldn't have done this without you," says Dan Eakins, SweetVinyl Co-Founder. "We launched the Beta test and initial production run of the SugarCube through crowdfunding to allow end users and supporters to directly communicate with us the features they would like to see from the SC-1 and SC-2 SugarCube as it reaches production."
The SC-1 and SC-2 SugarCube will be available for retail sale after the Indiegogo launch will be part of the Indiegogo InDemand program starting January 1. Retail price for the SugarCube SC-1 will be $1,500.00 and the SC-2 will be $2,500.00.
