SAP Cloud ALM identifies and contextualizes operational conditions, while Symphony executes the appropriate response based on process context, recovery logic, and defined governance. This approach addresses a persistent challenge in enterprise operations: coordinating the actions required after an issue has been detected.

Under defined conditions, Symphony triggers automated recovery workflows. Exceptions requiring human judgment are routed to the appropriate teams with supporting context. Through Maestro in Microsoft Teams, users review recommendations and approve actions where required.

Symphony combines predefined auto-healing workflows for known operational conditions with agentic AI-driven orchestration for scenarios requiring dynamic decision-making. Maestro also provides a conversational interface for interacting with and executing workflows using natural language.

For example, in IDoc processing, the platform automatically reprocesses known transient errors while holding genuine data issues for human intervention. The same orchestration approach supports preventive workflows, including certificate renewal ahead of expiry.
