Symphony EYC to Sponsor Shopper Marketing Celebration at Shopper Marketing Summit

Howard Befort, SVP Client Lead, Symphony EYC, will co-emcee the evening's event, which will include both the induction of the 2014 Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame class as well as the 2014 Shopper Marketing Effie Awards.

In addition, Symphony EYC along with Don Hamblen, CMO, Roundy's will present a 20-minute Customer Marketing and Loyalty workshop on the topic "Putting Customer Insights into Action" on Wednesday, March 26, as part of the Retail Academy Symposium at the Shopper Marketing Summit.

A black-tie reception and dinner, the Shopper Marketing Celebration begins with a presentation of the 2014 Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame class, an honor bestowed upon three deserving individuals chosen by the editors of Shopper Marketing magazine. Erik Keptner, executive vice president, marketing at Ahold, Inc., a Symphony EYC customer, is among this year's inductees. Keptner's achievements are showcased in the February issue of Shopper Marketing Magazine.

Following the Hall of Fame ceremony, Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Path to Purchase Institute, will present the winners of the 2014 Shopper Marketing Effie Awards. The prestigious Shopper Marketing Effies are given to integrated campaigns that best demonstrate how they effectively solve the shopper marketing challenge, connect with the shopper, influence her along the path to purchase and inspire her to become a buyer.
