Greenplum, a division of EMC, is enabling data science teams to fully harness the value of Big Data through its massively parallel processing (MPP) Greenplum Database, which is capable of storing and analyzing petabytes of data.

As part of this program, the companies will leverage the integration of DMExpress and Greenplum HD to simplify and accelerate the loading and extraction of data to and from the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) and reduce the complexity and cost of developing and executing MapReduce tasks.
