Syncsort Expands Executive Management Team for Data Integration Business

A 14 year technology industry veteran, Lonne Jaffe was tapped to apply his expertise in developing and executing strategies that deliver significant value to businesses grappling with game-changing technology shifts.

Lonne Jaffe comes to Syncsort with strong skills and expertise in the enterprise software space, including significant mergers & acquisitions experience.  Most recently, Lonne served as senior vice president of corporate strategy at CA Technologies, one of the world's largest software companies, and prior to that he spent over a decade at IBM, where he was vice president of strategy for an IBM software division with over $5 billion in revenue. Lonne holds undergraduate and advanced degrees from Harvard University.

The Board is also delighted to announce additional changes to the executive team to support the growth of Syncsort's Data Integration business. Josh Rogers, who was instrumental in the creation of the company's Big Data strategy and who led the organization to successful execution, has been promoted to President. Gary Survis, who has driven significant improvements in the business' digital marketing capabilities, will become Chief Marketing Officer. And, Tendu Yogurtcu, who leads the team that developed the company's Hadoop product line, is being promoted to Vice President of Engineering.

The Syncsort Data Integration and Data Protection businesses, which have different technology and go-to-market strategies, are being formally separated into two operating businesses. Flavio Santoni will continue to lead the Data Protection business as its Chief Executive Officer.
