Syncsort Taps Technology and Wall Street Veteran as CFO to Support Aggressive Growth Strategy

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Syncsort, a global leader in high-performance Big Data software, today announced that it has appointed technology and Wall Street veteran Krish Venkataraman to its leadership team as chief financial officer. Krish most recently served as chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of global information technology for NYSE Euronext, an S&P 500 company with a market capitalization of $11B and over $3.5 billion in annual revenues.

Jaffe, who was recently appointed to Syncsort's board of directors, joined the company last July and quickly engineered an aggressive "Big Iron to Big Data" corporate strategy across platforms such as Apache Hadoop, cloud-based systems and the mainframe. Venkataraman will report to Jaffe.

He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
