Sysnet Global Solutions today announced that ComplianceMaker, its PCI DSS compliance management solution, is now certifying to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) v3.0. The announcement was made today at the PCI SSC North American Community Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
The PCI DSS is a set of comprehensive requirements developed by the founding payment brands of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) for enhancing the security of payment account data, transactions and payment systems. The PCI SSC operates to a three year development lifecycle for its Payment Card Security Standards. The new versions of the PCI DSS and PA DSS were published in November 2013 and became active in January of this year. From January 2015, organizations will no longer be able to report using PCI DSS v2.0 and will be required to attest compliance with PCI DSS v3.0.
