System One Acquires Pathfinder, a critical infrastructure Capital Project Management Consulting Leader

Acquisition expands System One's critical infrastructure capabilities with project assurance, training, and resourcing expertise; Pathfinder to operate as a System One company.

PITTSBURGH, April 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- System One announced its acquisition of Pathfinder, LLC, an independent provider of outsourced project management consulting and training that supports capital projects across critical infrastructure, including Utilities, Energy, Mining, and Pharmaceutical. The combination enhances System One's Critical Infrastructure capabilities spanning organizational effectiveness, project assurance, professional development, dispute resolution, and project based talent resourcing.

For over half a century, Pathfinder's recognized practitioners—many with 25+ years of hands‑on experience—have delivered independent reviews, risk and contracting support, project controls, and best‑practice training that help owners deliver small to mega‑scale projects with cost and schedule certainty.

Pathfinder will operate as a System One company aligning offerings within System One's critical infrastructure sector while continuing to provide the same high‑quality expertise and client service. Steve Cabano, the current owner, will remain in place as Pathfinder's President.
