Tableau Hosts 10,000 Data Enthusiasts at Eighth Annual Conference
Sold-out event to feature new innovations for the coming year; virtual streaming available for free
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tableau Software (NYSE: DATA), a global leader in easy-to-use business analytics software, kicks off its annual Tableau Conference (TC15), today at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and Conference Center on the iconic Las Vegas strip. In its eighth year, the sold-out TC15 brings together more than 10,000 Tableau customers, an increase from 5,500 customers at last year's event. TC15 provides opportunities for Tableau customers and partners to connect, network and learn. The conference offers 340 sessions, including hands-on training labs, thought-provoking keynote speakers, plus the popular "Tableau Doctor" appointments with Tableau experts. More than 100 Tableau customers will share their success stories and analytics wins. People from nearly every industry, including government, healthcare, manufacturing and retail will share their data successes.
CEO Christian Chabot and Tableau developers will kick off the conference with a keynote session discussing new and exciting innovations.
Other featured keynote speakers include:
- Astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, the host of the TV series, "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey," and director of the Hayden Planetarium in New York.
