Tableau optimizes its sales planning strategy and performance with Anaplan
Anaplan helps Tableau navigate its growth with a single planning platform built for unrivaled planning and modeling power
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tableau, a global leader in rapid-fire, easy-to-use business analytics software, uses Anaplan, the enterprise planning cloud, to develop the plans and models necessary to align and optimize their sales performance.
Founded in 2003, Tableau is experiencing rapid growth, with $413 million in revenue in 2014 and currently employs over 2,400 worldwide. With the company's recent growth, sales planning needed a more powerful planning technology to keep pace with the increasing complexity and size of the sales team. Plans were maintained in spreadsheets and vulnerable to issues such as file corruption and version control. Tableau turned to Anaplan's enterprise planning cloud for the ability to collaboratively model and adjust their sales plans against real-time CRM data.
