Tadiran Telecom's Aeonix Solution Receives Acme Security Approval

Tadiran Telecom, a global leader, innovator, and supplier of software solutions, today announced its Aeonix solution has received Oracle - Acme Packet’s Technical Certification, meeting the highest standards for session border control security and authentication.

Aeonix R2, released to the market earlier this year, is Tadiran’s flagship UC&C solution designed for distributed environment supporting 25,000 users with enhanced high availability capabilities and built in Contact Center and Dispatch Console applications.

The added compatibility with the Oracle - Acme Packet SBC provides Aeonix users with the market leader in VOIP security, protecting their calls, for both regular VOIP calls and video calls. The certification was granted to Aeonix following extensive mutual testing and configuration carried out earlier this year, but required no alterations in the Aeonix solution.

The Oracle Acme Packet SBC provides added security for VOIP communications in three key ways. First, it provides protection of Denial Of Service (DoS\DDoS) attacks, second, by providing encryption of signaling and media communications and finally through multi-layered authentication by a signed certificate, whereby the server acts to ensure that both parties are securely identified and authenticated. 

In addition to the added security, the Oracle Acme Packet SBC will provide Aeonix users with added NAT traversal functionality for remote calls and conferencing, so that agents and employees can be in constant communications when on the road or working remotely.
