HIAWATHA, Iowa, May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ready Wireless, LLC announces new partnership with TAG Mobile (aka DPI Mobile. LLC). The partnership will allow TAG Mobile customers to purchase additional airtime when their monthly benefit minutes are depleted.
TAG Mobile offers wireless services at reduced or no cost to eligible beneficiaries through its TAG Mobile brand. TAG currently serves over 200,000 wireless subscribers and continues to acquire new customers at a rapid pace.
"TAG Mobile subscribers will have the ability to obtain optional additional airtime at thousands of national and regional retail locations via AirFair," said Frank Del Col, CEO of TAG Mobile, LLC. "Our customers are used to buying airtime in these locations. It's convenient, it's familiar, and our customers benefit from being able to enjoy continuous service when their free airtime is depleted."
This innovative Ready Wireless program allows Lifeline beneficiaries to purchase Ready Mobile and AirFair branded airtime at thousands of convenient retail locations. Purchases are then applied to beneficiaries' existing Lifeline mobile telephones allowing for uninterrupted service.
Retailers are also enthused. "Let's face it, prepaid wireless airtime sales are down in many retail channels," said Fred Haumesser, co-founder and EVP of Sales at Ready Wireless. "Now, many customers who used to buy airtime on the first of the month get their first hour or two for free. The AirFair program allows retailers to get those customers back in the store."
The AirFair program is open to most wireless Lifeline providers. Participating providers serve over 2.5 million subscribers, with hundreds of thousands of new subscribers added every month. Interested providers should contact Ready Wireless via email [email protected].
