Tailgate For Troops At Army-Navy Game To Be Biggest Yet

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Every year, fans look forward to one of the biggest rivalries in college football, and a head to head faceoff for bragging rights between the two largest branches of the US military: the Army Black Knights vs. the Navy Midshipmen. Thousands of veterans, active duty military, and football fans converge on the city for Gameday for a weekend of tailgating, banter, and comradery.  The Army-Navy game offers a college football experience like no other; steeped in tradition and patriotism, the weekend attracts VIPs, celebrities, and fans alike. Seats are highly coveted and tickets are in high demand – many who can't get tickets to the game come just for the party - and the Tailgate for Troops is the biggest and the best.

The Tailgate for Troops was founded with the goal of supporting those who serve or have served in our military, as well as to collect donations for a designated nonprofit organization dedicated to helping US veterans. This year's Tailgate will benefit the Nine Line Foundation, a 100% nonprofit organization founded by Nine Line Apparel CEO, CPT Tyler Merritt, which, among other things, builds handicap accessible homes for our nation's most severely wounded veterans. Though this is the first year the Foundation has been the recipient for the event, Nine Line Apparel has supported the Tailgate for years, sending staff to spread the message of the Nine Line Foundation and help organize the event festivities.
