"Take Off" with Special Holiday Deals

NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- It's that time of year when the busy holiday travel starts and the weather can cause many flight delays.  While the holiday travel season can be stressful, the Food & Shops at LaGuardia Airport's Central Terminal announced today special holiday events to ensure that passengers enjoy their time while traveling through the airport this holiday season.  

The Food & Shops have partnered with Brookstone to offer passengers a special holiday Gift with Purchase. Passengers who spend $100 at any retail store, or combination of stores, will receive a complimentary Luxe Plush Scarf. This cozy, ultra-rich and thick NapSoft® Luxe material makes the scarf the perfect holiday gift. Travelers can receive their free gift by showing their receipts totaling $100 or more at Brookstone near Gates C, before the security checkpoint. The offer is available while supplies last and is limited to one scarf per customer.

Also beginning today, retailers will display great holiday gift ideas on beautifully merchandised "Gifts to Go" holiday tables in front of their store. Gifts to Go merchandise includes jewelry, electronics, bath & body products, museum merchandise, apparel, toys and more. 

Passengers will also have access to a 20% off universal coupon from now through January 2, 2012, that will provide discounts for most retail stores and restaurants in the Food & Shops program.  The coupon will be available in print form in the terminal, in digital form via smartphones and online at the Food & Shops website at www.shoplaguardia.com.  Kuddles, the holiday elf, will also be on hand on Fridays, from December 2 to 23, from 11am-3pm to provide character balloons, stickers and holiday face painting. A Twitter contest will also be announced in December for followers of @shoplaguardia.
