The scholarship program, now in its sixth consecutive year, will award ten graduating high school seniors each a $1,000 scholarship to pursue full-time studies in forestry, plant sciences, horticulture, entomology, environmental science or a related major at an accredited two-or four-year college.

Applicants for Arborjet's 2019 "Taking Root" scholarship program must be graduating U.S. high school seniors planning to major in forestry or a related major for the entire 2019-20 academic year at an accredited two-or four-year college or university.
