Approximately three million people work for the Department of Defense, making it the largest employer in the U.S. As such, managing human capital is an ongoing challenge and top priority. HCMD brings together stakeholders from throughout the Defense and Intelligence communities to discuss best practices for managing human capital.

TALX has a long-standing presence in the federal market. For example, TALX serves more than 150 clients with employment verification services across a wide range of federal agencies, representing more than 4,850,000 employees. Among other TALX offerings utilized by these agencies are I-9 management services, which reduce liability and achieve cost savings through paperless, electronic I-9s and an integration with E-Verify® and online talent assessment systems. The TALX Assessment Division, pan, entered the federal market in 2002 by becoming the assessment solution provider for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) on the Transportation Security Officer (TSO) assessment program. Since that program's implementation, the company has tested more than 1,000,000 candidates for the role of TSO and has an expanded role in federal talent selection with other mission-critical jobs in the area of homeland security and law enforcement. TALX assessments currently serve over 20 clients in the federal market.

Dann Adams, President of TALX, commented, "TALX commitment to the federal market is evidenced by the number and caliber of agencies relying on our solutions to help manage their most strategic HR issues - it is a privilege to serve this significant group of clients."

TALX will exhibit in booth #6. More information about this event can be accessed at The 6th Annual Human Capital Management for Defense Event - HCMD.
