Having been inspired at a young age with the art of jewelry making, Hodges is proud to say that all jewelry is one of a kind and handmade by her. Hodges recalls being, "madly in love with making jewelry since I was a young girl". She states that," in the beginning, I beaded and wire wrapped like a champ but always felt something was missing when I created jewelry. Throughout the course of her education and training, Hodges attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State Polytechnic University – Ponoma.
To further her professional development, Hodges is an affiliate of several organizations including the MSJA, the National Association of Professional Women and Ethical Metallurgy.
