Tamarack Resort Recognized with Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Readers' Choice Award "#21 Ski Resort in the United States"

Condé Nast Traveler received more than 798,867 survey responses from readers across the United States rating their travel experiences across the globe to offer a comprehensive look at the places they eagerly anticipate revisiting. The Readers' Choice Awards, with its unparalleled legacy as the travel industry's longest-running and most prestigious accolades from our readers, remains the ultimate symbol and acknowledgment of excellence within the travel sector. The full list of winners can be found here.

"Being recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as one of the top ski resorts in the country is an incredible honor for Tamarack," said Scott Turlington, President of Tamarack Resort. "This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from travelers who experienced the mountain and our community firsthand. Our team has worked tremendously hard to continue elevating the guest experience, and we're excited to build on that momentum as we head into another winter season."

Located 90 miles north of Boise on the shores of Lake Cascade, Tamarack Resort offers 2,800 vertical feet of skiing and riding across 2,000 mountain acres, with 59 named ski runs, three terrain parks and an average of approximately 300 inches of annual snowfall. The resort combines mountain recreation with a pedestrian-friendly alpine village featuring lodging, dining and après, as well as Nordic skiing and other winter activities.

The award also follows a year of national recognition and continued investment across Tamarack's four-season resort experience. Tamarack was named the No. 1 Resort in the West in Travel + Leisure's 2026 World's Best Awards, while Osprey Meadows Golf Course was ranked the No. 1 public-access golf course in Idaho by Golfweek for 2026. The new Tamarack Resort Marina also debuted on Lake Cascade this summer with 100 boat slips and a fuel dock.

The 2026 Readers' Choice Awards are published on Condé Nast Traveler's website at cntraveler.com/rca and celebrated in the November issue.
