Dr. Cook joins Tamarind Partners as Senior Consultant. She is an experienced CFO in private and public organizations up to $4 billion, an entrepreneur, published behavioral researcher, speaker, and graduate professor.

Alexandra's 26-year career spans multiple industries, including family offices, public accounting, health care, commercial and residential real estate, international trade, transportation/logistics, petroleum, hospitality, insurance, non-profit, public sector/government, and academia. Dr. Cook graduated summa cum laude from Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she earned a BA in Accounting, a BS in Management, and an MBA. She has a Doctor of Business Administration in Accounting from Nova Southeastern University with a specialty and dissertation in Accounting Information Systems. In addition to her CPA license, Alexandra holds multiple credentials, including Certified in Financial Forensics and Certified Global Management Accountant from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, International Accountant from the Association of International Accountants, and PRINCE2© Practitioner (project management) from Axelos.

Kelly Atkins joins Tamarind Partners as Senior Family Office Analyst. Kelly brings 27 years of consumer marketing and research experience with leading companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Foodservice, and Durable Goods sectors. Her specialties include strategic planning, research, brand strategy, marketing communications, innovation, and business management. She has optimized numerous brands through strategic positioning resulting in highly focused marketing strategies and communication. Kelly developed both innovation and portfolio optimization strategies leading to successful new product launches for Nestlé, Haagen-Dazs, KFC, and Moen. Throughout her career, Kelly was responsible for growing market share and achieving financial targets. Leveraging these skills at Tamarind Partners, she focuses on client service support, research, marketing, and product and program development. Kelly earned her MA in Advertising and BA in International Relations Policy Problems with a minor in Business from Michigan State University.
