CHAGRIN FALLS, Ohio, March 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- As a part of its integrated and comprehensive product portfolio, Tarkett, worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions, has added to its industry-leading collection of commercial flooring solutions by introducing the I.D. Patriot™ LVT collection.

Manufactured in the United States, I.D. Patriot is ideal for light commercial environments including military housing, doctor's offices, boutiques, and other foot traffic only applications. The collection, which consists of both wood plank and stone tile options, helps promote motivating and safe environments with beautiful design and warm colors. The 13 rich wood plank designs in warm colorways are designed to coordinate with the eight stone tile patterns. The enhanced rolled edges add depth to the floor design, making it an ideal product for all light commercial environments that require innovative and versatile design.

"Distributors often challenge manufacturers when it comes to their products and we have seen customers looking for a mainstreet LVT like I.D. Patriot for some time," said Debbie Trudo, Vice President Tarkett/Johnsonite Division, NRF Distributors. "For end users, the biggest requirements when selecting a product are aesthetics, low maintenance and a solution that fits their project. I.D. Patriot offers all of these things and its designs are incredibly realistic. NRF is proud to have been a part of this project."

Beyond its good looks lies an exceptionally hard-wearing reinforced polyurethane surface treatment and 12mil wear layer, making this product one of the most resistant and durable light commercial products on the market. With high chemical- or mechanical-resistance and easy-to-clean properties, I.D. Patriot will help generate savings throughout the product's lifetime by minimizing the use of water, detergents and energy for the floor's maintenance.

I.D. Patriot is backed by a 10-year Light Commercial Warranty and is produced in an ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified manufacturing plant. It contains 28 percent pre-consumer recycled content and is FlooScore® certified, contributing to good indoor air quality.

I.D. Patriot is a part of the Tarkett commercial flooring system, which includes rubber, linoleum, homogeneous and heterogeneous vinyl, stairwell solutions, finishing borders and transitions. The company's integrated color palette runs across its full range of flooring solutions to help create efficiencies that pay-off for the end-user in real lifetime return. Every element is designed to work together functionally, aesthetically and logistically.
