Tatum Expands Footprint, Establishes Office in Richmond

The company's new location enhances Tatum's ability to deliver its extensive array of business solutions to a growing number of clients in the area.
The Richmond office will be led by George Boatright, an innovative information technology and business executive who has established an impressive track record throughout his 30-year career for leading business transformation and growth. In addition to Boatright's leadership, the new location also will benefit from the direction of Tatum's Corporate Advisory Services leader, Enrique Brito. Brito is a senior financial executive with more than 25 years of experience in helping corporations define and achieve their strategic goals.
The former director of IT at Media General, Boatright has successfully managed organizations in the media and manufacturing sectors throughout all cycles of the U.S. business climate. He has been recognized by colleagues and customers as a change agent with operational expertise and a legacy of delivering high-impact projects that produce outstanding business results. Prior to joining Media General in 1999 as the director of Business Services, Boatright served as controller for a Media General subsidiary, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, where he was responsible for financial accounting and reporting for the company. Boatright began his career as an internal auditor at Media General.
A certified public accountant, Boatright graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He earned a master's of business administration degree from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business. Boatright has held a number of volunteer leadership roles with Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, including serving as chairman of the board from 2010 to 2011.
During his distinguished career in investment banking, corporate finance and strategic management, Enrique Brito has led more than 40 successful merger and acquisition transactions in several countries, including the U.S., Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru. As the practice leader of Corporate Advisory Services for Tatum, he is responsible for providing clients with M&A advisory services, capital formation, exit planning and value enhancement implementations. Throughout his career, Brito has served as the strategy advisor, senior managing director, principal and director of corporate finance at public and private companies in a variety of industries, including healthcare, investment banking, aerospace and defense, telecommunications and manufacturing.
Brito holds several professional credentials, including chartered financial analyst (CFA), certified valuation analyst (CVA) and chartered M&A professional (CMAP). In addition, he earned an MBA in finance from American University's Kogod School of Business, as well as a bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Florida.
