TCA Named Media Agency of Record for Accredited Debt Relief

Omnicom Media's national performance media agency will lead cross-channel strategy, planning and investment as Accredited Debt Relief steps up national marketing investment

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TCA, Omnicom Media's national full-service performance media agency, has been named media agency of record for Accredited Debt Relief, charged with leading U.S. media strategy, planning, and investment as the debt relief provider expands its national media presence.  

The decision, which marks Accredited Debt Relief's first media AOR relationship, followed a competitive review that included both holding company and leading independent agencies.

As reported by DataIntelo, U.S. household debt reached a record $18.8 trillion in early 2026, including approximately $1.26 trillion in credit card balances, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. As household debt, credit card balances and delinquency rates continue to rise, more consumers are seeking solutions to regain control of their finances and reduce the burden of overwhelming debt. Concurrent with this trajectory, media investment in the category reached $271M in 1H'26 (up 7% YoY), versus $394M for full year 2025.

Against that backdrop, Accredited Debt Relief recently partnered with acclaimed award-winning actor, producer, author, and entrepreneur Rob Lowe on a national advertising campaign to challenge stigma around consumer financial hardships. The campaign features three emotionally driven storylines drawn from authentic consumer experiences, using relatable storytelling to illustrate the difficult tradeoffs families face every day.

In the ad "Almost Didn't," a family faces the heartbreaking possibility that their son may not be able to play on the baseball team because they can no longer afford the sports team's costs, which aligns with realities many parents are facing today.  According to Accredited Debt Relief's national survey of 2,000 U.S. parents, 44% have already delayed or completely skipped enrolling one of their children in sports because they simply couldn't afford the registration fees, equipment, uniforms or travel costs, and an additional 43% worry they may be forced to make that same decision this school year.

Accredited Debt Relief has since expanded its national marketing effort with Pro Football Hall of Famer and Super Bowl champion coach Bill Cowher. The new creative, "No One Crosses the Goal Line Alone," draws on Cowher's coaching perspective to reinforce the importance of having the right plan and support when navigating financial challenges, and will run alongside the Rob Lowe creative.

TCA will bring a consumer-first, cross-channel approach that connects brand building to demand generation. The agency will lead media strategy, planning and investment while partnering closely with Accredited Debt Relief's in-house team on activation and measurement.
