TCEB Drives MICE Venue Towards ASEAN Adoption

BANGKOK, Dec. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Public Organization Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) announce today that the 1^st Special Meeting on ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) Category: Meeting was successfully held at Centara Grand at Central Ladprao on December 15.

Mr Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, president of Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, together with Ms Sukanya Janchoo, vice president, Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) and Mr Thalun Theng, Secretary General, Thai Exhibition Association (TEA), recently joined forces to drive the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) during the 1^st ASEAN Special Meeting on ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) Category: Meeting Room, hosted in Thailand.

Developed based on the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) as a role model, the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) aims to create unity among regional MICE markets and mutual marketing cooperation under ASEAN brand in the near future.
