Teachers' Insurance and Discovery Education Offer 'Discovery Days' to Two New Jersey School Districts

RED BANK, N.J., May 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Plymouth Rock Assurance -- Teachers' Insurance Plan of NJ and Discovery Education came together on May 10 and 11 to present 'Discovery Days' to educators at two New Jersey Quotes for Cash^® partner school districts. As the finale to the Teachers' Insurance Professional Growth Academy program, winning districts Beverly City and Pittsgrove were each awarded a day-long professional development seminar presented by Discovery Education.

The seminars, designed to help local teachers succeed in today's classrooms, were awarded to the districts with the most auto insurance quotes from Teachers' Insurance per number of employees. State-of-the-art education topics, including "Using Digital Media to Strengthen Literacy Across the Curriculum," "Beyond the Digital Stream," "Director's Cut: Digital Storytelling in the Classroom," and "Engage, Activate, and Collaborate," were presented.
