It was a two podium weekend for Team FXPRIMUS Aylezo during the Fuji leg of the 2014 Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia race. The team had to overcome difficult qualifying sessions and fought two hard races to achieve the podium finish.

Race one saw Zen pulling away into turn one from a good start but as he entered the turn, he was nudged in the rear and spun, allowing three cars to pass. From there onwards, it involved a lot of catching up and changing positions between the Sarawakian and Selangorian. By the time he had to pit for a driver change, Zen, who at the start dropped down to ninth, managed to pass the car to Afiq in third position. For Afiq, it was a lot of catching up to do. The car's great setup allowed Afiq a better chance at overtaking and maintaining a quick pace.
The second race was a lot tougher for Team FXPRIMUS Aylezo when they had to line in row four in eighth. Once again, Zen started the race for the team and once again he was hit at turn one. This time he was unable to rejoin in his position but had to resume the race, all alone, in the back of the main pack.
As soon as he got in the car, Afiq just put his head down and began to push hard, one by one he managed to overtake drivers in a nail biting race. At almost every lap, Afiq gained one position until he got behind the experienced GT driver Dilantha Malagamuwa in second. Trying as hard as he could, Afiq could not find a way past but managed to take the chequered flag for a brilliant podium finish.
