Team LaRocco to partner with Goddard Gunster

WASHINGTON, July 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Former Congressman Larry LaRocco and public policy expert Matt LaRocco will co-locate and affiliate with Goddard Gunster, one of the world's leading issue advocacy firms.  

Larry LaRocco is a former two-term US congressman from Idaho and president of LaRocco Associates Inc. and Matt LaRocco is the founder of Quorum Public Policy Group. The LaRoccos have worked together on advocacy and public policy issues in Washington, DC since 2000. Both men will act as senior consultants to Goddard Gunster, a firm that specializes in influencing campaigns both at the grassroot and opinion leader levels.

Larry LaRocco, brings more than 30 years of experience from the private, government, domestic, and international sectors to his client work. Prior to his congressional service, he spent the majority of his career in the financial services sector.

While in Congress, Mr. LaRocco served on the influential House Financial Services Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee. Today, LaRocco continues the work he began in 1995 by working with numerous financial services clients and issues. He is past president of the US Association of Former Members of Congress and remains active in that organization as a board member and program participant.

He was also active in the leadership of the House through his service on the Speaker's Policy Working Group and as a deputy whip. 

Matthew LaRocco brings more than 20 years of government relations experience to the team. He has represented numerous clients before the US House and Senate and the Administration in the areas of transportation, defense, homeland security, financial services, and education.

Today, Matt designs and executes legislative and political strategies including the drafting of legislation, conference report language, hearing testimony, and coordinated message development for Capitol Hill dissemination.
