Tech Executive Scott Allen Joins FreeWave Technologies As Chief Marketing Officer

Allen brings more than 30 years' experience in product lifecycle management, product marketing, business development, brand development and technology deployment. Prior to joining FreeWave, Allen served as an executive consultant with SolarWinds, where he led the creation of customer marketing strategies and success measurements. Allen also worked with V3 Systems (now Sphere3D) as CMO. He served as the Vice President of Marketing and BU Director at Fluke Networks (a Danaher Company), and VP of Product Management at Network Associates (McAfee, an Intel security company) earlier in his career. Along with his executive leadership experience, he also has led marketing development efforts at several start-ups, including Mazu Networks (Riverbed) and NEXVU Business Solutions. Allen earned his BA in Computer Information Systems from Weber University.
