TINTON FALLS, N.J., Feb. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CommVault (NASDAQ: CVLT) today announced that Tech Mahindra, a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering, has chosen CommVault's industry-leading backup solution to power its "Backup-as-a-Service" offerings for its alliances community.

As its cloud based business solutions evolve, Tech Mahindra decided to work with CommVault's Cloud Solutions Group (CSG) and the Simpana® 10 platform based on the effectiveness of CommVault's cloud backup enablement and capabilities to make additional functionality easily available. These elements support Tech Mahindra's global alliances as its partners expand into the provisioning of a variety of managed service offerings.
