TechAmerica's 24th Annual Federal CIO/CISO Survey Identifies Top 3 Priorities for Government IT Officials

WASHINGTON, June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- TechAmerica, the public sector and public policy division of CompTIA, in collaboration with Grant Thornton, identified three top priorities for government IT officials in its 24^th Annual Federal CIO Survey.  This year's survey, entitled CIO/CISO Insights: Achieving Results and Confronting Obstacles, addresses the evolving federal IT infrastructure and how these changes are impacting strategic priorities. The report will be presented at the National Press Club's Holeman Lounge in Washington, DC, tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. 

The report points to IT security, modernization/innovation, and cloud/mobility as government's top IT priorities. Balancing these priorities, however, often includes transforming the mindset and workflow for the workforce and reflects some of the top challenges that were identified, including workforce, security and budget cost savings.
