Southwire Receives "Best of the Best" Awards for Three Marketing Campaigns

CARROLLTON, Ga., Sept. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the leading trade publications in the electrical industry, the Electrical Distributor (tED), has named Southwire Company its "Best Overall Supplier," while also recognizing three of Southwire's marketing campaigns as "Best of the Best."

In announcing Southwire's Best Overall Supplier selection, an article in the August edition of tED proclaims that Southwire has a "legacy of achievement" and that "simplicity and customer productivity underscore Southwire's renowned market approach." The article notes that Southwire was started in 1950 by Roy Richards, fueled by his desire to deliver electricity to his grandmother's rural Carroll County, Ga., home.
